Maid Marvel ("we," "us," "our") operates maidmarvel.com and provides residential cleaning services in the Los Angeles area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Contact & booking details — your name, email, phone number, service address, home size, scheduled date/time, and any notes you provide (e.g. pets, parking, access).
  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles and protects it.
  • Communications — text messages and calls to/from our line, handled via Twilio, so we can confirm and coordinate your service.
  • Basic usage data — standard web log information when you visit the site.

How we use it

  • To provide, schedule, and deliver your cleaning service.
  • To process payments and authorize/charge your card after service.
  • To send service-related texts (booking confirmations, reminders, arrival notices, follow-ups).
  • To respond to your questions and improve our service.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under their own data protections:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Twilio — text messaging and call handling.
  • Our assigned cleaner, who receives the details needed to perform your service.
  • Authorities, if required by law.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messaging (SMS) terms & consent

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Maid Marvel (booking confirmations, reminders, and arrival and completion notices) at the number you provide.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the services you requested. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

Message frequency varies based on your bookings and service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out won't affect a clean you've already booked.

Data retention & security

We keep your information as long as needed to provide service and meet legal/accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, though no method is 100% secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us below.
